Browser softphone
No install needed. Log into this app on a desktop or laptop, open the Softphone tab, and calls ring in the browser.
ChromeEdgeFirefoxSafari
- 1.Open the Sasa Call Center app in Chrome or Edge.
- 2.Log in with your Keycloak email + password.
- 3.Click Softphone in the sidebar.
- 4.Allow microphone permission on the browser prompt.
- 5.You are registered - the status dot goes green within 3-5 seconds.
Phone or tablet (PWA)
Install the Sasa Call Center web app as a Progressive Web App on your phone. Works exactly like the browser softphone with an app-icon shortcut. Ideal for kiosk / desk / floor use where the app stays foreground.
Android ChromeiOS Safari 16.4+
- 1.Open your phone browser and go to callcenter.dev.skyconnect.co.tz.
- 2.Log in with your Keycloak account.
- 3.Chrome (Android): menu (3 dots) → Add to Home screen. Safari (iOS): Share → Add to Home Screen.
- 4.Tap the new Sasa Ride icon anytime to open in fullscreen mode.
- 5.Keep the app in foreground while on-shift - calls ring while the app is open.
Locked-screen incoming ringing is NOT supported by any browser PWA today (Apple and Google both restrict background WebSockets for mobile web). For that, use the browser softphone at your desk or wait for the native mobile app.
Baresip (Android, power users)
Open-source SIP client from F-Droid. Registers over WebSocket Secure just like the browser. Setup requires pasting a URI into a text field, no polished dialer UI.
Android
- 1.Install F-Droid (f-droid.org).
- 2.In F-Droid, install Baresip(package com.tutpro.baresip).
- 3.Open Baresip and go to Menu → Config file. In the accounts file, paste the entry below (using your credentials from the top of this page).
- 4.Save the file, restart Baresip. The account should register immediately.
Baresip account URI
<sip:[email protected]>;auth_pass=YOUR_SIP_PASSWORD;outbound="sip:pbx.dev.skyconnect.co.tz:443;transport=wss;ws-path=/ws"
The account-URI text field in Baresip's new-account UI rejects transport=wss due to a validator quirk, so we edit the config file directly. This is why we mark this as advanced.
Native mobile SIP apps
Real lock-screen ringing on iOS (CallKit) and Android (ConnectionService) via the standard SIP TLS protocol on port 5061. Requires opening the port on our office network path - infrastructure change in progress.

When this ships, you will point your SIP client at:
Host: sip.dev.skyconnect.co.tz
Port: 5061
Transport: TLS
